About Ryan
Ryan McCook is a passionate personal trainer / strength & conditioning coach, with a unique blend of athletic experience, academic knowledge, and industry certifications.
A lifelong athlete, Ryan has been using the gym to enhance his performance for over 11 years. Currently, he competes at the senior level in hurling for Ballycastle. His dedication to fitness and sport is evident in his ability to push himself and his clients to achieve their goals.
Beyond his athletic background, Ryan holds a degree in Psychology and is is currently studying for his second undergraduate degree in Strength and conditioning. This academic foundation has provided him with a deep understanding of human behaviour and motivation. Ryan believes that his psychological knowledge is invaluable in creating personalised training programs that cater to individual needs and goals.
Ryan is currently studying for his second undergraduate degree in Strength and Conditioning.
To further enhance his expertise, Ryan has obtained Level 3 Certificates in personal training, gym instruction, nutrition, and kettlebell instruction. Additionally, he holds a Level 4 certificate in Strength and Conditioning. Currently, he is honing his skills through a strength and conditioning internship with Oisin Quinn, a renowned figure in the fitness industry.
